:Holy Crap! Here Comes That Really Fast Dog!" oil SOLD

Posted a  detail of this painting previously. It sold at the Annual Juried Show at the Art Gallery of Bancroft this May 2015. It was so much fun to paint....like I couldn't stop laughing or smiling at that fast dog who just loved to work with the sheep.  And the sheep were hilarious because they didn't know what was going to happen next! My inspiration came from photos I took at a highland games sheepdog event.

    This is a truly marvelous piece! By the time I saw it at the Bancroft Art Gallery, it had sold. Broke my heart. This is a piece I would've loved to have bought. The colours were absolutely brilliant. The motion of the dog was remarkable. There was so much joy and so much life in this painting! Thanks for something so special. Shawn
