- Favourite Media: Acrylic, oil, charcoal, mixed. Training and Related Experience: Cheryl graduated from the 3 year diploma program at Sheridan College School of Design in 1977 with highest marks and has spent her life up uo now self employed using her artistic talents in photography, music, carpentry and fine woodworking, landscaping, painting, and... volunteering in the classroom in the arts while her 3 boys were young. In May 2009 she graduated from St.Lawrence College from the 2 year Fine Arts Program receiving the Academic Council Medal Award (highest marks) and the Brockville Fine Arts Alumni Award (outstanding artistic potential). While attending St.Lawrence College in Brockville she was employed at the MVS Gallery at the college. Her paintings aremostly landscape wit ha modern flavour, abstracting the shapes but she loves exploring many subject matter. Cheryl likes to work large in acrylics but is presently working on "a painting a day/small" series. She is always eager for further training in workshops and courses.
